Coaching for Women
Small steps. Real support. Lasting change.
If you are navigating identity blur, a major transition, or the quiet weight of holding it all together, coaching gives you a steady place to get clear and move forward. This is trauma-informed coaching rooted in Microbravery. Small, intentional steps that build self-trust over time.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership focused on helping you move from where you are to where you want to be. Unlike therapy, which often explores the past to heal wounds, coaching is forward-focused. It's about creating change, building new skills, and taking action. A coach doesn't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, we work together to clarify your goals, identify what's blocking you, and create practical strategies for moving forward.
Think of it this way: Therapy helps you understand why you are the way you are. Coaching helps you become who you want to be. That said, coaching and therapy can complement each other beautifully. Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach, addressing different aspects of their growth simultaneously.
A note on trauma-informed support
Traditional coaching often assumes you just need clarity, motivation, or better goal-setting. But if you've experienced trauma (whether from divorce, loss, workplace toxicity, chronic stress, or relational wounds) your nervous system doesn't work that way. You can't just "push through" or "stay positive" your way to change. Trauma-informed coaching recognizes this reality.
Here's what makes it trauma-informed coaching different:
✓ Safety first. We create a space where you can be honest about what's really going on without judgment, without pressure to "get over it."
✓ Your pace, not mine. Healing isn't linear. Some days you'll be ready to charge forward. Other days, you'll need to slow down. Both are valid.
✓ No forced positivity. We don't bypass your pain with platitudes. If it's hard, we name it. If you're struggling, we honor that.
✓ Nervous system awareness. We pay attention to how your body responds to stress and build tools to help you regulate, not just "power through."
✓ Respect for your story. You don't have to relive your trauma to heal from it. We focus on building what you need now, not dissecting what happened then.
Trauma-informed coaching meets you where you are (physically, emotionally, and psychologically) and honors the complexity of being human.
Is coaching right for you?
Coaching isn't for everyone, and that's okay. Here's how to know if this work is a good fit.
Coaching might be right for you if:
You're ready to take action, even if you don't have all the answers yet
You're willing to be honest about what's not working
You want support creating change, not just understanding the problem
You're navigating a transition and need clarity and guidance
You're tired of feeling stuck and ready to move forward
You're open to trying new approaches, even if they feel uncomfortable at first
Coaching might NOT be right for you if:
You're in active crisis and need immediate mental health intervention (therapy or crisis support would be more appropriate)
You're looking for someone to tell you what to do (coaching is collaborative, not directive)
You're not willing to do the work between sessions (real change happens in your life, not just in our calls)
You're seeking diagnosis or treatment for a mental health condition (that's the role of a therapist or psychiatrist)
Still not sure? Schedule a 25-minute initial conversation. We'll talk through where you are and whether coaching is the right next step for you.
Taking the first step
1.
Start with an initial conversation.
This is a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go. In 25 minutes, we'll explore whether trauma-informed coaching is the right fit for you, what package might serve you best, and whether we're a good match. If we're not, I'll tell you. If we are, you'll walk away knowing exactly what to expect.
2.
Choose the right level of support.

Foundation
For the woman who's ready to start but isn't sure where to begin.
You know something needs to change, but the path forward feels unclear. Maybe you've been treading water for months or years and you're finally ready to take the first step toward reclaiming yourself. The Foundation Package gives you a safe container to explore what's really going on beneath the surface, identify what you actually want (not what you think you should want), and create a roadmap for moving forward. This isn't about having all the answers yet. It's about finally giving yourself permission to ask the questions.
This package is for you if:
You're new to coaching and want to test the waters
You need clarity before committing to deeper work
You're overwhelmed and need someone to help you see the path forward
You're ready to stop spinning and start moving
What you'll walk away with: Clarity on your core challenge, a concrete next step you can actually take, and proof that you don't have to do this alone.
Transformation
For the woman who's done pretending everything is fine.
You've been holding it together for everyone else, and somewhere along the way, you lost yourself. The Transformation Package is where real change happens. Over five sessions, we'll move beyond surface-level fixes and into the deeper work of rebuilding your sense of self. This is where Microbravery™ takes root - small, courageous steps that honor where you are while gently moving you toward who you're becoming. You'll learn to recognize your patterns, reclaim your voice, and make decisions from a place of alignment instead of obligation.
This package is for you if:
You're navigating a major transition (perimenopause, divorce, career shift)
You're tired of people-pleasing and self-silencing
You want sustainable change, not just temporary relief
You're ready to do the work, but need a guide who gets it
What you'll walk away with: A felt sense of coming home to yourself, practical tools for navigating your nervous system, boundaries that actually stick, and the confidence to keep going when it gets hard.
Deep Work
For the woman who knows this is her time and she's all in.
This is the package for women who are done dabbling and ready to commit to the real work of transformation. Ten sessions gives us the time and space to go deep, to sit with what's uncomfortable, and to rebuild your life from the inside out. This isn't a quick fix. It's a complete recalibration. Together, we'll unpack the stories you've been telling yourself, heal the parts of you that are still carrying old wounds, and create a new framework for how you show up in your life. This is where profound change happens; the kind that ripples into every corner of your world.
This package is for you if:
You're ready to stop surviving and start thriving
You want more than surface-level change; you want transformation
You're willing to be uncomfortable in service of becoming
You need consistency and accountability over the long haul
What you'll walk away with: A version of yourself you didn't know was possible. Deep, embodied change that doesn't just look good on paper; it feels different in your bones. You'll have the tools, the language, and the courage to keep choosing yourself, even when life gets messy.
Frequently asked questions
-
I offer virtual coaching via Zoom for all clients, which allows for flexibility and accessibility regardless of where you're located. For New Orleans-based clients, in-person sessions may be available on a case-by-case basis, reach out to discuss.
-
Most clients find the most traction with weekly or biweekly sessions, especially in the beginning. Consistency builds momentum. That said, you're not locked into a rigid schedule. Life happens. We'll find a rhythm that works for you.
-
No. Coaching is not typically covered by insurance because it's not a medical or mental health service. However, if you have an HSA or FSA, some clients have been able to use those funds for coaching. Please check with your plan administrator.
-
Absolutely. In fact, many of my clients do exactly that. Therapy and coaching serve different purposes and can complement each other beautifully. If you're working with a therapist, I encourage you to let them know you're also working with a coach.
-
Coaching is deeply relational. If after our initial conversation or first session we both realize this isn't the right fit, I'll tell you and I'll help you find someone who is. No hard feelings, no judgment. The goal is for you to get the support you actually need, not to force something that isn't working.
-
Schedule the 25-minute initial conversation. We'll talk through where you are, what you're navigating, and what level of support makes the most sense. I'll give you my honest recommendation and you can decide from there.
-
All sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking. The full cost of your 25-minute initial conversation serves as a credit toward your first booked package. I accept all major credit cards and payment plans can be discussed for the Deep Work Package on a case-by-case basis.
-
Coaching sessions are where the focused work happens, but I'm not disappearing between calls. You can reach me via email for quick questions or to share wins. That said, coaching isn't crisis support. If you're in acute distress, please reach out to a therapist or crisis hotline.
-
Yes! I work with organizations on leadership development, team coaching, and trauma-informed workplace culture. If you're interested in bringing this work to your team or company visit the For Leaders and For Organizations pages.
