Steady Ground
A Healing & Growth Retreat for Women
You have spent years holding everything together.
When do you get to come back to yourself?
Identity shifts, caregiving transitions, career pivots, and the quiet accumulation of life's changes can leave us questioning who we are and what comes next. Steady Ground creates space to understand what is changing, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity, connection, and intention.
Why Steady Ground exists
People grow from the inside out, and they grow further together.
Women are skilled at holding everything together for everyone else. They are far less practiced at pausing long enough to ask who they are becoming underneath it all.
The space between who we were and who we are becoming can feel uncertain and isolating. Steady Ground offers room, structure, and community to navigate that transition with greater self-awareness, trust, and purpose.
The Human Operating System
Steady Ground develops three interconnected domains of growth
Steady Ground is designed for women navigating:
Identity shifts and life transitions
Career pivots and changing professional identities
Caregiving transitions and evolving relationships

Led by Kimberly Sharp
Kimberly Sharp is the founder of OakRoot Human Experience and a trauma-informed mentor-coach, facilitator, and longtime people leader. Her work brings together more than 25 years of leadership and human-development experience with a deeply personal understanding of what it means to navigate change, rebuild trust in yourself, and begin again.
Through Steady Ground, Kimberly creates the kind of space women rarely give themselves: room to slow down, tell the truth about where they are, reconnect with what matters, and take meaningful steps toward what comes next.
Grow from in the inside out.
You don't have to have everything figured out before taking the next step.
Steady Ground is an invitation to make space for yourself, connect with women navigating their own transitions, and build a foundation for what comes next. Ready to explore Steady Ground?
